History
I started my tax preparation business when the IRS wouldn't let me work part time as a Revenue Agent after my children were born. A few years later I expanded into the area of nonprofit accounting from which I retired at the end of 2015. I am now expanding my tax preparation and tax advising business as part of my retirement plan. I really enjoy it and the people I get to know. I have some clients from the beginning years of my business. I treasure them as friends. I plan to do this until I am physically or mentally unable. (Many of my ancestors were / are good into their 90's.) I specialize in small business, musicians and pastors. I am currently studying the area of tax representation, so I can be a more effective advocate in the areas of tax audits, collection, appeals and Tax Court. As an Enrolled Agent, I am qualified to represent my clients at all these levels. Enrolled Agents are the nation's professionals in tax, as lawyers=law and CPAS=accounting.
