The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium is a nonprofit organization that develops and supports geographic information systems (GIS) professionals in Minnesota for the benefit of the state and its citizens. It is a forum for communicating information to and improving cooperation among individuals interested in geographic information systems (GIS) and land information systems (LIS). The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium s members include geographic information systems users in businesses, educational institutions, and local, state and federal government agencies. Additionally, the Consortium administers annual statewide conferences, as well as establishes committees that deal with specific issues in the state. The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium is located in St. Paul, Minn.
