Minnesota Center for Obesity, Metabolism and Endocrinology, also known as MNCOME, provides health care and education for patients and their families with endocrine diseases. It employs various endocrinologists and family practice physicians who work with registered dietitians and diabetes educators. The center provides care services for a variety of diseases, including diabetes, obesity, thyroid, osteoporosis, and male and female hormonal disorders. The Minnesota Center for Obesity, Metabolism and Endocrinology specializes in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, lipid disorder, postmenopausal health, infertility and sexual dysfunctions, and adrenal and pituitary diseases. It operates a more than 2,000-square-foot conference center for patient and family education, as well as has various support groups for patients with endocrine diseases. The center additionally conducts continuous glucose monitoring to assist patients with poor diabetes control.
