It assists adult learners with specific goals of learning to read better, learning math skills and improving writing abilities. It also offers free basic skills to learners who are deaf or hard of hearing. SHAPE also offers a family literacy program, workplace English as a second language and the learning exchange to help adults with disabilities with customized community education classes.
