History
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1998 and I received my Doctorate in Chiropractic with a Certification in Acupuncture in 2003 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. I then became a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician in 2015 through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. I opened Hamel Sports & Family Chiropractic in 2003 across the street from the University of St. Thomas on Grand Avenue & Cretin Avenue South. I chose this location because I loved my experience at UST, being on Grand Avenue, and being a part of such a beautiful, warm community. The setting of my wellness clinic in MacGroveland is truly St. Paul character at its' finest. I am in a 100 year old building that dates back to the time of horse & buggies that inhabited the underground parking beneath it. I feel so grateful to be a small business owner in an area where where health and wellness is strong and that I can be a part of that journey.
