Founded in 1898, Fraternal Order of Eagles operates as an organization providing various social programs and events. The organization's membership exceeds 850,000, with more than 1,400 local Aeries in the United States and Canada. Fraternal Order of Eagles conducts charities for eight major charities, such as kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury, children funds, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund. Located in Crookston, Minn., the organization's women auxiliaries total more than 1,300.
