Hanson Structural Precast Midwest has manufactured and erected more than 14,000 projects since its start up in 1960. Projects include floors, roofs, walls and supporting structural components. Located in Maple Grove, Minn., it has one of the largest enclosed plants in the United States. The company has one of the largest staffs of engineers and drafting technicians in Minnesota, employing state-of-the-art, computer-aided drafting and precast design software and equipment. Production is continuous year round in Hanson s 250,000 square-foot manufacturing facility. Large capacity mixers can generate more than 200 yards of concrete per hour. With forming space, automated plank and panel machinery, the company has the capacity to produce 1,000 cubic yards of precast per day. Hanson Midwest operates its own steel fabrication facility and carpenter shop for building custom forms and molds in-house. It is part of the Hanson family of manufacturing companies.
