Metro Karate, located in the strip mall at the corner of Eden Prairie Road and Wagner Way (and in Chanhassen), provides karate instruction to adults and kids ages 4 and up. Sensei Anthony Rockwell, a 6th degree black belt in American Tae Kwon Do and an experienced competitor and teacher, directs instruction at the school. He seeks to build skills, character, and discipline in young people and increased physical fitness, mental health, and safety in adults. In business since 1992, Metro Karate holds classes six days per week, hosts birthday parties, and features women's self defense and programs ranging in length from month-to-month to 18-months. It also offers a free trial class and a $99 two-month special for prospective students.
