Chatfield Center for the Arts is a 501c3 non-profit organization that operates within a building that was originally built in 1916 to serve as an institution of learning for the children of Chatfield. This historic property now houses programming in the visual and performing arts to inspire and connect future generations and provides ample space for us to enhance the quality of life and ignite regional vibrancy in Southeast Minnesota. The Potter Auditorium, a newly renovated 658-seat venue with state-of-the-art sound and tons of small town charm, is quickly becoming known for the diverse lineup of music and performing arts events brought to the space. The American Legion Room, is most utilized for intimate house-concert style folk performances as well as indoor art fairs and as a rental for private parties. The 1916 Gallery features art by artists near and far.
