Established in 1925, Gustafson is a manufacturer of chemical application equipment for seed treatment applications. The company creates custom designed equipment, as well as commercial treaters, downstream treaters, on-farm treaters and accessories. As an example, its ACCU-TREAT RH-24 is a continuous flow rotary seed wheel treater, designed for treating many crops, such as soybeans, cereals, large seed vegetables and other crops, with a capacity of up to 24 tons per hour. Gustafson is a subsidiary of Bayer CropScience, a crop science company specializing in crop protection, non-agricultural pest control, seeds and plant biotechnology. Gustafson maintains a location in Shakopee, Minn.
