Wyandotte Animal Pound is a division of the Wyandotte Police Department. It handles all animal issues throughout the city. Friendly animals that are picked up and not claimed are spayed and neutered and put up for adoption at the pound.
The pound's hours of operation vary, as the animal control officer is often out on patrol. Adoptions can be arranged from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, 10am - 2pm on Saturdays and 10am - 1pm on Sundays. Visit the website to view adoptable animals.
After-hour animal emergencies can be called in to the police department at 734-324-4405.
