History
Orville Wood, or Woody as he was known, started learning the nuances of tooling for the woodworking business at age 16. He gained valuable experience working for others and in partnerships for years. In 1980, Woody went off on his own establishing his own company, Wood-Cutters, which he ran for 13 years. In 1993, Charlie Bosscher, whom Woody had mentored for many years, purchased the company after Woody's passing. The company name was changed to Wood-Cutters Tooling Inc. and for the next 25 years, it remained a small shop dedicated to serving the needs of woodworking companies, both large and small. In 2018, Eric Jansen purchased the company from Charlie, looking to maintain the small shop service experience, while expanding its presence on a larger scale. The company now features increased product offerings, reaches new market segments, and will benefit from over 35 years of experience in the wood cutting tool and machinery distribution industry.
