History
Wolverine State Brewing Co. was founded in 2006, and began the Lager Revolution with the production of Premium Lager. The brewing facility opened at 2019 W. Stadium a few years later, and in 2010, the Tap Room opened at the same location. Since then, we have expanded our recipe book to more than 65 different lagers that encompass a huge variety of styles -- from the fiercely smooth and malty Massacre BB-aged Imperial Dark Lager to the award-winning Gulo Gulo India-style Pale Lager to our classic Oktoberfest. We smoke all of our meats in-house, and in addition to year-round standbys like our pulled pork nachos, our menu features seasonally-rotating specials made with local ingredients whenever possible. Wolverine State Brewing Co. is a proud member of the West Side community and of Ann Arbor as a whole -- come on over and have a beer with us!

We create balanced, unique, and innovative lagers. Additionally, our kitchen turns out some of the best BBQ around -- we smoke all of our own meats in house and feature a rotating array of fresh, local, seasonal foods.
