History

The second Water Street Coffee Joint opened in the summer of 2003 on the corner of Oakland Drive and Whites Road in the Oakwood neighborhood. Housing a more spacious seating area and sizeable patio, the Oakland design inspiration comes from 1940's architectural drawings and blueprint designs from the Bryant Paper Mill. Like the downtown location, Oakland offers house roasted, freshly brewed coffee, a full espresso bar, loose-leaf teas, shakes, smoothies and more

This place is a Great option for food and you can typically find a seat. I come here when I want to get work done, informal meetings with clients, or even for a change of scenery.

My favorite place for an iced lavender latte! I've been to different locations- definitely a bit of a chain feel inside, food is decent; but I really enjoy their coffee most!
