University Health Service, also known as UHS, is a health care clinic located on the central campus of the University of Michigan. It focuses on promoting and protecting the health of the university campus residents, including students, faculty and staff. The clinic provides medical services for fevers, respiratory illness, stomach pain, sprained ankles, skin rashes and minor emergencies. It also offers treatment services for chronic problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma. In addition, University Health Service provides immunization services for chicken pox, hepatitis A and B, influenza, meningitis, polio, and measles, mumps and rubella. It also offers laboratory, radiology and nutritional counseling services. University Health Service is a part of the Division of Student Affairs that focuses on educational enhancement, service delivery and facility management. The clinic is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.
