HistoryWe are a second generation family owned and operated business that originated in 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. Leo, an Italian immigrant, arrived from Italy in 1957, aboard a boat with his new wife, Florence. Florence's brothers were already involved in the produce business. Leo, being a farmer back home, joined them delivering retail produce to homes in the Detroit area during the next 10 years. Leo then became involved in two small fruit markets.
