St. Elizabeth Catholic Church is a parish under the Archdiocese of Detroit. The church has a number of social ministries, including a prison outreach, and visiting the sick and shut-in. Church members also volunteer for a number of projects, including local food pantries and Right to Life of Michigan.
St. Elizabeth's parish mission statement is: We, the St. Elizabeth Family, are a loving Catholic, spirit-filled faith community that does God's will by our love for our Lord Jesus Christ and through the intercession of Mary, His Mother. We proclaim the gospel in diverse ways: sharing resources, talents, lively liturgies, social gatherings, commitment to justice issues and to the nurturing of God's creation, partnerships with neighboring parishes, and outreach to the greater down-river area and to the world.
