HistoryAfter operating Thunder & Lighting as an Entertainment company for 6 years, owner Dave Poirier added video production to the mix. It was a natural addition since Dave had been working in the field of video production since 1987. Working for several area companies as producer, director and production manager he built a base of experience and skills that would serve to be the back bone of the new Thunder & Lighting Production. In 2001, the doors were opened at the Front Street office and warehoused large venue equipment building across town. Fall of 2006 found the companies office busting at the seams. A new studio was developed and included offices, warehouse facilities and a full lighting studio. The studio is the largest independent production facility in Northern Michigan and is being used to record video segments as well as in-studio programs.
