Cooperative Elevator is an agricultural cooperative located in Michigan by Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay. The region combines trained and experienced producers, transportation, agricultural infrastructure, diversified crop and livestock enterprises and farming practices to create a spirit of cooperation and partnering. The cooperative is owned by approximately 1,200 farmer producers and has been in business since 1915. The cooperative also provides farm inputs to member patrons. These farm supplies include feed, seed, fertilizer, chemicals and petroleum. Cooperative Elevator is headquartered in Pigeon, Mich., and has plants throughout the state in Akron, Bad Axe, Deckerville, Elkton, Fairgrove, Gagetown, Ruth and Sebewaing.
