Clothing and food drives. Financial help. Counseling and transportation.
These are just a few of the services provided through the nonprofit Rochester Area Neighborhood House, managed by a consorutium of community leaders, religious organizations and business leaders.
A food pantry provides qualifying individuals with nonperishable meals throughout the year and at holidays. A clothes closet accepts donations of new or gently used clothing for distribution to needy families. Financial assistance is also available for help with utilities and other expenses.
The neighborhood house is always looking for volunteers to help with special events or to provide regular help with specific services.
