Pied Piper Opportunity Center, operated by the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District, serves students with developmental and physical impairments. The school provides services to students with moderate and severe cognitive impairment, severe multiply and autistic impairments. Pied Piper Opportunity Center s classrooms provide individual and personalized instructional programs for students, including personal care, independent living, communication and language, academics and motor development. It also offers social and emotional skills development courses and vocational and physical education for students ranging in age from three to 26 years. Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District serves more than 900 disabled students in Alpena, Mich.
