Orchard Lake Pet Resort Orchard Lake Pet Resort has been a family owned business since April 1996. Home schooled since a young teenager, Natalie decided it was time her father, Mark, took her love of animals more serious! The family purchased Groomingtails, and existing pet grooming business located in Farmington Hills. Anxious to learn the business and become a talented groomer, Natalie attended numerous pet conventions and seminars. Taking pet first aid classes and becoming a companion animal hygienist at the age of 14. She worked up to 6 days a week, finished high school at 16 and enrolled in business and accounting classes at Oakland Community College. Siblings Mark and Shelly followed suit and in summer of 2000 unanimously decided to move and expand their booming pet grooming business to include the best overnight care for their canine clients.
