The history of North Coast Imagewear began in 1983. Originally called "North Coast Fun Gear", Buck Love was the original owner. He ran the business as an advertising specialty and screen printing company. Buck sold the business in 2002 to Richard Botbyle, who renamed it "North Coast USA". Until 2003, North Coast was primarily a screen printing company that outsourced its embroidery work. The current owner, Tracy Piehl, started out in embroidery at The Trophy Case in 2002 with a 12-needle single head machine. By 2003, he needed to add large scale screen printing capabilities to his quickly growing embroidery business so he purchased North Coast USA and moved it across town to the Trophy Case Plaza. Since 2003, North Coast Imagewear has achieved over a million dollars in sales volume per year by specializing in serving our customers by providing high quality merchandise in a timely and professional manner. NCI's customers range from individuals to organizations, businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, sports teams, and retail stores. We can handle any quantity order. We now possess large scale production capabilities. The embroidery production area has 15 heads and our screen printing production area has 3 presses with a precise electric oven. All production is performed in-house.
