The Michigan Center School District s Superintendent is a part of the school board that governs the schools in the district and has its office located in Michigan Center, Mich. Established in 1857, the district comprises five schools offering classes from preschool through grade 12 to more than 1,500 students. Its high school curriculum is college preparatory and the majority of graduates attend two- and four-year colleges and trade schools. The superintendent delivers instructional programs and services based on the policies of the board that enhance the academic and personal potential of its students. It offers courses that follow the requirements of the state education board, and include parents as a major part of the education system, with numerous opportunities for parent training programs. The Michigan Center School District s Superintendent enables its schools to offer an extracurricular sports program, that includes basketball, volleyball, football, golf, cross country, wrestling, softball, baseball, track and competitive cheerleading.
