Lower Huron Golf Course, located in Belleville, Mich., is part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, a regional special park district. Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority includes Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties, Mich. The authority manages more than 10 parks that are spread over an area of more than 24,000-acres. Its various parks are situated along the Huron and Clinton rivers that provide a greenbelt around the Detroit metropolitan area and serve more than 9.5 million visitors every year. Lower Huron Golf Course is a part of the Lower Huron park that spreads on an area of more than 1,200-acre, along the Huron River. It is a par 3, 18-hole golf course, and offers a variety of programs for individual of all ages.
