HistoryLOOSEN UP Massage was opened in 2005 with clients in mind. By becoming independent, Curt didn't have to worry about the distractions that came along with working for someone. Curt unofficially worked with CMU athletes starting in 2002. In 2010, Curt became the official massage therapist for CMU's Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He has since become official with CMU Football and Sports Medicine. His goal is to help clients understand the benefits of deep work as opposed to the fluff and buff that takes over the spa world of massage.SpecialtiesLOOSEN UP Massage specializes in Sports Massage and Deep Tissue work. Curt worked in physical therapy clinics for 9 years before opening his own practice in 2005. He also works with CMU Athletics and Sports Medicine. Curt prefers to add trigger point, range of motion and manual therapy to massages when necessary and thinks more medically than holistically.
