Jenison High School offers education to more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with Jenison Public School District and offers a curriculum that includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computers and physical education. The school also offers courses in applied technology, family and consumer sciences, business studies and home economics. It has a library and media center that provides Internet access and has a collection of more than 15,000 fiction and nonfiction volumes, magazines, pamphlets and audiovisual material. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include art, Spanish and French clubs, science Olympiad, yearbook, woodworking, forensics, writing contests, newspaper, peer educators, jazz band, debate and dramatics. The sports activities offered by the school include bowling, powerlifting, cross country and basketball. The school is located in Jenison, Mich.
