When the Harlo Corporation was established, the conversion of the local power system from 30 Hertz to 60 Hertz required the rewinding of thousands of electric motors. The company was looking to get its share of this business. Today, Harlo Corporation manufactures control panels for the power, petro-chemical, food processing and industrial manufacturing fields. Harlo Corporation engineers, designs and constructs a variety of relay and control panels including vertical switchboards, enclosures, duplexes/tunnel sections, cabinets, control houses, replacement panels, low-voltage distribution panels, SCADA and communication panels and steel only panels. Planning studies, substation design and load management are among the range of services that the company provides. Encompassed within the Harlo Corporation is also the Harlo Products Division. Presently, this division manufactures three models of rough terrain forklifts, which are marketed through the company s national and international dealer network. Cummins, John Deere and Caterpillar engines power Harlo forklifts. Harlo Corporation was established in 1937.
