Foundation 736 is a Detroit-based organization dedicated to addressing the disparities in chronic kidney disease among African Americans, particularly Black men. Through their program, Meet the Moment, they strive to improve the quality of life for those affected and find solutions to reduce the number and rate of ethnic minority Americans needing organ and tissue transplants.
Led by Dr. Silas Norman, Co-Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant at the University of Michigan, Foundation 736 works tirelessly to raise awareness about kidney disease and encourage individuals to sign up on the Organ Donor Registry.
