Davenport University is a private, nonprofit, multilocation university located throughout the states of Indiana and Michigan. It was established in 1866 and offers master's, bachelor's and associate's degrees, diplomas, and postgraduation certification programs in business, technology, health professions and graduate studies. Its Grand Rapids, Mich., campus is a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. The university has an enrollment of more than 13,500 students. It has athletic teams for various sports, including basketball, golf, hockey, soccer and volleyball. Its School of Technology offers updated curriculum and degrees, such as biometric security and computer gaming and simulation. Davenport University operates more than 30 campuses and provides financial aid to eligible students. It is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
