Family owned. Business started in 1970 by Edward Bulmer a long time resident of Charlotte Michigan. The business was then passed to Ed's son, Jerry Bulmer when Ed passed away. Lorraine, Ed's wife remained office manager and assisted her son in running the shop. Jerry retired in 2013 and passed the shop to his step-son Scott Pakkala. Scott had 23 years of experience in electric motor repair prior to taking over Charlotte Electric Motor. Business continues to be family owned and operatated.
