History
Center for Computer Resources has been providing technical support services for small to medium size business in Michigan for 35 years. The history of Center for Computer Resources, CCR, began in an unlikely place for a computer company, a toy shop. CCR was founded in 1981 when Jack Parish, father of Scott Parish (Partner & COO of CCR), started the business as a spin-off of the Doll Hospital & Toy Soldier Shop in Berkley,MI. Through an acquisition in 2013, we added offices in Petoskey and Traverse City. CCR has been at the high level of Microsoft Competency for our 19 years working with Microsoft. In 2020, CCR merged with Business Communication Systems (BCS) to form Centaris. Together, Centaris now offers managed IT services, including products like Microsoft Office 365 and Teams, as well as incorporated carrier service, NEC phone systems and complex cabling to a combined client set of 1,500+ businesses nationwide.
