In 1916, the Evening Argus and the Press-American merged and the name was shortened to the Argus-Press. In 1919, the newspaper had outgrown its quarters and Mr. Campbell purchased the Amos property at the corner of Park and Exchange streets. The building was remodeled for newspaper use and has been the home of The Argus-Press ever since. The newspaper offers local regional and national news stories as well as sports, financial and entertainment sections. Its online edition also includes news archives, classified ads as well as forms for subscribing to the press, placing ads, letters to the editor and engagement and wedding announcements. The Argus-Press is located in Owosso, Mich.
