Andrews University is one of the oldest Adventist educational institutions in the United States. Located in Berrien Springs, Mich., Andrews has been operational for more than 100 years. The university offers majors in more than 50 academic areas, including accounting, American studies, anthropology and sociology, fine arts, biology, chemistry, business administration, classical studies, criminal justice, economics, childhood education, mechanical and civil engineering, English literature, environmental studies, and foreign languages. It also offers majors in world history, human services, individualized studies, mathematics, medical technology, vocational and instrumental music, nursing, philosophy and religion, political science, psychology, public affairs, and social studies. An National Collegiate Athletic Association division III college, Andrews is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference and Michigan State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association. The university offers various intercollegiate, intramural and recreational sports programs.
