Zama Yoga, LLC has offered classes at the First Congregational Church since September 2001. Marie started with one class and over time the business grew and now we offer 5 classes a week with 3 instructors. We are able to offer classes at a very reasonable rate.
Specialties
Our classes are multi-level so that new and more experienced students may attend. Alternatives are suggested and students are encouraged to try variations for their level of practice. During a yoga class one does a series of poses that work the muscles, joints, spine, and internal organs. The poses help strengthen the muscles and bones, improve circulation and digestion, and increase flexibility. Bends and twists, for example, massage the internal organs, aid digestion and increase the elasticity of the spine and joints.
