WUNI is a television station owned by Entravision Communications Corporation. The station originally signed on as an English-speaking channel under the call letters WSMW on Jan. 2, 1970. Today, the station runs predominately Spanish-speaking programming. WUNI broadcasts on digital channel 29 and is affiliated with Univision and LATV. Alex Vonlichtenberg is the station's manager.
