Worcester Comprehensive Child Care Services features nurturing and stimulating childcare. The nonprofit organization was established more than 30 years ago in the Great Book Valley housing project in Worcester, Mass., to care for children of area families. It maintains sites in two area high schools for teenage parents, a full-service center and 20 family childcare homes. Worcester Comprehensive Child Care Services provides early education and care for nearly 300 children between the ages of four weeks through 12 years. The organization plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum for each child. Its summer program enables attendees to participate in field trips. Worcester Comprehensive Child Care Services also serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.
