The VFW Post's members are an active group, committed to helping veterans and their families. They work on behalf of veterans in need, including homeless vets. They also organize patriotic observances, support student scholarships and the building and maintenance of memorials and monuments.
In addition, the post's 145 members work for charitable causes such as raising money to find a cure for breast cancer.
The VFW Hall also serves as the home for several other local veteran service organizations including the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the Marine Corps League.
