The Unitarian Church of Sharon occupies the town's historic meetinghouse. Built in 1842, the facility is actually the third of that name, according to the church's website. The first one was built in 1742 and the second one in 1787. The current meeting house includes timber from the 1787 structure, according to the church. The church typically draws 100 people for a 10:15 a.m. Sunday service, says the Rev. Jim Robinson, the pastor.
