Ten Tables is considered the dining gem of JP, consistently receiving raves for its welcoming ambiance, superior service and thoughtful, well-executed seasonal menu that makes smart use of locally grown foods. The large open kitchen is the focal point of the dim-lit dining area; sparse, white-clothed tables fill the rustic brick-exposed space. Menu standouts include the beet-and-goat-cheese terrine appetizer and the house-made charcuterie served with traditional accouterments. For mains, there's the puttanesca with local Allandale Farm tomatoes and anchovies, and the roasted chorizo-stuffed Giannone chicken, fresh corn and bean succotash with smoked jalapeno butter.
An impressive and varied selection of beers, cocktails and wines is available; ask about suggested wine/dessert pairings. Ten Tables recently expanded to include TT Bar, which features a few small hightop tables and limited bar space. A "bar bites" menu includes light snacks, burgers, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.
