The Upromise service is free to join and allows members to save a percentage of their qualified spending with some of America's leading companies, including Citi, ExxonMobil, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, as college savings in their Upromise account. Members can also get money for college by dining at more than 8,000 restaurants and shopping online at more than 350 online shopping sites. More than six million families have enrolled in the program. It also includes Upromise Grocery, which gives members money back for college when they buy any of the participating grocery, health and household items at more than 20,000 grocery and drug stores worldwide. The company also offers Upromise Investments, which makes it easy to learn about college savings options and gives members access to some of America's top-rated college savings plans.
