St. Anselm Church is a committed religious community that provides an environment for spiritual nourishment within the Catholic faith. In response to a planned closing of the church, a determined congregation conducted a 21-month vigil in protest. As a result of successful negotiations with the Archdiocese, this building became the site of the first rectorate in the United States, a status that confers on it all the rights and privileges of a parish. Since August of 2009, the rectorate has been led by Fr. Tom Kopp. A calendar of daily services is available on the website.
