The Seekonk Police Department works closely with the community to keep residents and out-of-towners safe. Chief Ron Charron heads the department.
Though much of Seekonk is wooded country town, a thriving business district draws traffic causing police to respond to a good amount of vehicular accidents.
In addition to a dispatch call center that works throughout the day and night, the public safety complex employes professional paramedics. A school resource officer works with the school department to educate students.
The fire department is also housed in the public safety complex.
