Holy Ghost Church in Attleboro, which is located on Linden Street, has served a Portuguese population through most of its history. Today, while maintaining a strong Portuguese flavor it serves a diverse population. The parish is part of the Catholic Diocese of Fall River, which includes 96 parishes serving nearly 320,000 catholics. Holy Ghost is served by Rev. John M. Murray and Deacon Paul Fournier. Father Murray is also pastor at Saint Joseph's Church on South Main Street in Attleboro.
