The Roche Family Community Center is run by Boston's Centers for Youth and Families Department. There is a basketball court/gym used for programming for the West Roxbury Community Centers. The centers put out a brochure for programming seasonly.

Programming is available for preschoolers to seniors. There is also a community room downstairs.

Dedham Community House

The Dedham Community House is a non-profit association that was founded in 1922. It serves to preserve the historic mansion it is housed in, and to provide a recreational center for the people of Dedham and the vicinity. Although members can join as individuals or families, non-members can take advantage of everything the Community House offers for the town such as, pool access, martial arts pilates, and even a pre-school. The Community House also features access to the Charles River, athletic fields, and an event hall - all for community and member use.

Hennigan Community Center

The Hennigan Community Center is one of the four locations run by Jamaica Plain Community Centers. It shares a campus with the Hennigan Elementary School and West Zone Early Learning Center. The center is well known for its pool and gym. The gym hosts basketball, soccer and stickball, among other activities. Membership in the Jamaica Plain Community Centers allows access to all four locations. However, it should be noted that the Curtis Hall Community Center closed in August 2010 for at least a year's worth of renovations. People who used the pool there can utilize the pool at the Hennigan Community Center instead.

Eritrean Community Center

The Eritrean Community Center of Greater Boston works to promote social and cultural interactions among Eritrean-Americans and the local residents, and strives to foster mutual understanding and respect. The center provides a forum for Eritreans to come together and form solutions to challenges faced in the U.S. and in their native country. Members have access to a library, computers, training programs and social events.
