The Framingham Council on Aging provides a variety of educational, social, recreational and health services and activities for the senior citizens of Framingham and their families. These services include outreach, information, seminars, classes and clinics.
The Framingham Council on Aging is an 11-member board. Five members are appointed by selectmen and six members are appointed by the Council on Aging. The council advocates for the elderly population in the town.
The Callahan Center also houses the Heritage Gallery. It's open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 2:15pm. The gallery sells an eclectic selection of consigned or donated items.
