A quiet large park with three baseball diamonds, a basketball court and vast, sprawling soccer and lacrosse fields. The football stadium, Blocksidge Field, is named for John Blocksidge, a Swampscott veteran who was killed in WW I. The field is home to the Big Blue football team. The field house was erected in 1948 and dedicated to the heroic Swampscott men who lost their lives in World War II.
