Violet Skin Boutique takes its name from owner and founder Violet Mkhitaryan, who began her career in aesthetics in her native Armenia. With a background in biochemistry and extensive cosmetology training in Eastern Europe, Violet brings a vast and eclectic set of skills to her business as a beautician and as a product designer. She has two locations in Boston, one in Coolidge Corner and this shop on Newbury Street. She has been honored with multiple "Best Of" awards from Boston Magazine, including Best Facial and Best Massage. Other services include spa packages, body wraps and bridal programs, just to name a few.
