The latter client often relied on their CPA to provide bookkeeping services for year-end tax preparation. The hourly cost of these services by the CPA ranged from $150-$250 hour. Ridiculous if you ask me. In 2010 I finally broke free and began to offer the same type of high quality service at 20% of the price.
