Established in 1896, the Milton Police Department is one of the oldest departments in Massachusetts. The department supports the Rape Aggression Defense System (R.A.D.), which is a program of self-defense tactics and techniques for women that provides training related to awareness, prevention, and risk reduction and avoidance.
